	Ben Steel is currently seen in the role of Jude Lawson in Home & Away. He had an early role playing, now Home Away co-star, Ada Nicodemou’s boyfriend when they both starred in Breakers. However, Ben has not always been in front of the camera. He has been involved in behind the scenes production, from commercials to movies, including such international movies as Babe 2, Bootmen, The Matrix and Oscar and Lucinda. As well as lighting positions in the above movies, he also worked on Heartbreak High as a gaffer, and in the soon to be released Moulin Rouge as a runner. Career Memories you wish to share	The first time I met Nicole Kidman was amazing. I worked on Moulin Rouge. She was in the kitchen of our office. She had this long white sarong on. I entered she turned around, her hair flicked over her shoulder. I said "hi, I'm Ben", she said "hi, I'm Nicole". She was down to earth. Unreal.

Why you became an Actor	It's an additction. A way of expressing myself. Sounds crap but it's true. I feel more together when I've got a job acting. Then there's the money! That's great too!!!
